Competition has soared by 869 per cent. It was measured by the number of people enquiring about each available property in an area,
This compares to the London average increase over the past ten years of 55 per cent.
Meanwhile, Twyford, at the end of the western section of the line and the next stop along from better connected Reading, has seen the biggest jump in the number of buyers contacting estate agents. It is more than tripling compared to ten years ago – up 245 per cent.
